Charli month 7&8

Baby girl you have gotten so big these last few weeks. You are 8 months old today. You seriously have the cutest laugh. When you get so excited you flap your arms, wiggle your toes, and get such big eyes. You are finally sitting up on your own... You have been able to do it for months but you would fight us and make your body completely stiff and you just want to stand or lay down. We finally are over that speed bump. You are starting to love food. Rice crispies, grapes, otter pops, and squash are your favorite. You have figured out your voice and you love it. You babble so loud that it makes you laugh. You are definitely a mamas girl. You are starting to notice when I leave the room and you want to go with. My favorite time of the day with you is in the morning.... You wake ups little bit before your brother so we snuggle in my bed and have our morning talk. You sleep in your own bedroom now and you love it. You dont have to hear your dad snore... I might be a little jealous. You love to go to the park and play in the sand. You still don't have any teeth but you have been teething for over a month... The dang these just love to bug you... Sorry baby girl. Your hair is starting to come in and when it's wet it goes curly... Love it! You are the longest skinniest baby girl. When you stand next to your brother you hit the bottom of his chin. You love your toes painted... You now know they are there and love to play with them. We finally got your stomach issues figured out and it has made you a happy baby... Which means a happy mom and dad.love you baby girl.... I can't imagine life without you!

Fathers day

This year we celebrates fathers two different weekends. The first fathers day we had two different parties. The first party we went to was at the wildes. Cindy's father and grandpa came up to. We ate dinner and just hung out with the family. We did get a 5 generation photo with Charli and her grandparents. We did one with Austin when he was a baby. They are so lucky to have so many grandparents who love them! The second party was at my house for my family's fathers day and my dads 50 th birthday party. We had BBQ and played minute to win it. It was so much fun! I tried to upload the videos because they are hilarious but blogger wouldn't work. I'm so grateful for all the father figures in our life! Happy 50yh dad!

Ragnar

I did it.... I finished Ragnar. I have been training since feb-march and I was scared to death. I hate running..... Like a lot. I wanted a goal this year that I knew would be hard and this was it. Thank goodness for a good friend Megan for pushing and helping me on the way. My team was so much fun... In our van their was me, Megan, Erin (Meg's sister) Andy ( Meg's BIL) and Trisha and Shawn Holmes. I was runner #7. The easiest of all the legs.... Thank you meg! Our team started at 1130 on Friday, our van didn't start until about 5. My first run was in Eden.... What a beautiful run. I had such a high .. It was by far my fastest run. My second run was probably my favorite (before Ragnar I was freaking out about this run... Kinda scared of the dark and animals) I started at 2 am and it was. A 3.6 up east canyon. It was awesome running under the stars and it seemed so peaceful even though I was jammin! My third run was thru charleston... My hometown. I loved it... All the kids that lived out on that road had their hoses and squirt guns out... Which was awesome because it was so hot! I've got to say after this experience I kinda... I mean kinda like running now. After 38 hours of maybe 20 min of sleep, getting to know new friends, and finishing a goal.... I'm so grateful for that opportunity.

May Fun

Moab May 2012
At the beginning of the month we ventured off with our best friends the McPhies, Drapers, and Colemans to Moab. We had a blast! We left early morning on Friday and came home on Sunday. We went on 2 different trails. The first day we went on the hells revenge trail. It is a sandstone trail. I was so nervous in the beginning... So many cliffs. My crazy husband and cody decided to drive up hells gate. Talk about giving me a heart attack.... But they did great. Later on in the day Brady decided to drive down one of the hot tubs and his tires bent in and he rolled his jeep. They got it going and it was actually drivable for the rest of the weekend. That night we went to dinner, shopped a little and and went back and crashed in the hotel. Saturday we went on a more tame trail. It had a little hit more courses that you could play on. Near the end of the trail of course our transmission had to die... So we were towed back to the truck. We ate at a Mexican diner that night... And ate the best salsa ever! Sunday we went to breakfast and went home. Im so blessed to have these friends in my life. I really don't know what I would do with out them.

 

Little Q
I have wrote and erased and rewrote this post for a while.... But I just wanted To honor this little girl and her family... And say thank you for sharing her and her memories! She will be missed ! Love you Brady, Angie and Quincy!

  
Discovery gateway
For my birthday this year I wanted to go something with my little family. We were going to go to the zoo but on our way down it started to rain. So we decided to try out discovery gateway. I'm so glad that we did. Austin LOVED it! He was so entertained. His favorite part was the ball area. ( of coarse he loves balls) he also loved the water area. If you have never been... I suggest that you try it out. We also went to lunch after. We sat in a booth that faced the tv(baseball) and he was in heaven. He acted so big. I love that he is growing up and we get to do fun things and teach him new things. Charli was such an angel and loved watching all the kids run around.

 

 

New and exciting things

So... I'm really excited to say- that I'm teaching tumbling again. I work with Dance Central in Heber. I'm teaching their comp. girls how to do aerials and back handsprings for their dances. I'm also going to open up a few recreational classes in the fall. Excited for this new adventure in my life!

Austin Month 21

Hey Little man--

 You are my fun 21 month old. You are full of life. You are learning so much right now and getting into everything. You love doing big people tasks.. such as washing dishes, dusting, vacuming, and watching your little sister. If Charli is upset I will lay her by you playing and you will entertain her. You guys are so fun to watch interact. You love to give each other kisses. 

You have been spending alot of time with your grandma and grandpa Wilde lately. You and Porter went with Grandpa Wilde last weekend and helped him fix the wheel line. You guys love running around the field throwing rocks and playing in the dirt. You and Porter are becoming really good friends. You guys like to play trucks and trains. You LOVE books. You love to stack them up really high. A funny story that i always want to remember is.... you were being quiet one day so i decided to go and check on you. I found you in the window in the back reading rich dad poor dad... you just peeked over the top of the book and smiled at me. At first i just giggled because that is one of  your dad and grandpas favorite book. So I put it back on a different shelf and didn't think any more about it. The next day again you were quiet so i went to check on you... you were again sitting in the window reading rich dad poor dad. There is no pictures in this book but you are so fascinated by it. You are definetly your fathers son. Another funny thing you like doing right now is teasing mom. I will be down stairs loading doing laundry and you will wait for me at the top of the stairs and as soon as you see me coming you jump up and run and shut the door and lock me in. You think you are pretty funny. You also think you are so big when we load up in the car. If i try to carry or put you in your seat you freak out. Instead you want me to open the door and you slither your way in. You always sit in the middle seat. It is a big fight to put you in your carseat. But.... when we go to grandma and pa wildes that live a half a block away, I let you sit in the middle seat. Another funny thing that you like doing is flexing out your scooter bike. I will have a pile of clothes on the floor and you will ride your bike up the pile...jump off and check it out. You are all boy. The picture of you sleeping in your crib cracks me up. Im afraid you will always have to sleep in a crib. You are one crazy sleeper. I love you little man... you make me smile every day. I am so proud to be your mom!

Charli Month 6

               Hey Baby Girl-

You are 6 months old. I can't believe half of a year has gone by. You are no longer my newborn and it makes me sad and happy all at the same time. I love the newborn stage but I love to watch you grow. You are learning that you have a voice and you grunt and it makes you laugh. You will grunt at Austin and he will grunt back at you and you guys think you are hillarious. You love to Eat! Your favorites are vegetables...(squash) is your faveorite! You are taking 2-3 naps a day and sleeping pretty good at night. On a good night you wake up once and a bad night 4-5 times a night (we are still working on your stomach issues). You are trying to sit up but your really uncomfortable when you squish your stomach and so you bend over backwards so it wont hurt you anymore. I'm sorry baby girl we are working with the doctor to get your belly under control. You love to stand up and you want to walk so bad! You just want to run around with your best friend.. your brother. At your 6 month check up your stats are : Wt 15 lbs 2 oz (26th %) HC: 17 in. (67th %)  HT: 26.5 in. (71st %) . You have been working on your first tooth. It has been going up and down the gum for the last month.  You my girl are so sweet and so happy. I love spending time and cuddling with you! Thanks for letting me be your mom! I love you!
